Hey Techyv,

I am in the process of accessing a computer remotely and I would like to know how I would be able to eject a CD from a CD ROM. Can anyone tell me the eject cdrom command line for achieving this?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer.

Hi John,

The Command line does not have a native command for this action because they use the manufacturer's software to operate those CD-ROMs. But you can download and install the Eject utility to the Windows directory in your Windows drive. After you do that type "eject E:". E is your CD-ROM drive. This should eject it.
