Hello!

VBulletin is the best paid forum software. It is easy to use with strong security and a lot of integration, more content can be added.

However, if you want free forum software, phpBB is a free forum script which can provide a good deal of help, templates, resources and etc.

Simple Machines Forum (SMF) is another free forum script.  It also has a lot of support and resources.

Hello Nicholls.

 

The best forum software available is phpBB. This form is widely used by web developers as well as normal users over the internet. All you need is Apache server or Linux hosting account to install it. It uses MYSQL as the backend database. The core features are so much good that you feel like having a complete package but still if you want more , there are more plugins available.
