How can I get the OS to load onto a hard drive of a Fujitsu LT C500?
The original 98 SE OS was having issues, so I reformatted the hard drive and then reinstalled, changed the boot sequence through bios, and my options to boot are floppy or hard drive.
Loading the OS into another hard drive on another machine then reinstalling did not work.

What’s the ideal OS for Fujitsu LT C500
Hallo Steve,
You will have to change the boot sequence on the BIOS on the hard drive and then get another operating system, whereby I will suggest that you get windows 7, and then install it on your computer. With a bootable windows 7 CD ready, insert it in the DVD drive and then restart the computer.
When the computer is booting, it will request you to press any key on the keyboard so as to boot from the CD, press any key on the keyboard as you are told. The formatting process will start. When it reaches a point where you are required to choose the partition where to install the operating system, be sure to choose the hard disk as the destination.
If the computer does not ask you to press any key to boot from the CD during the booting process, just press F8 on the keyboard so as to access the BIOS and choose to boot from the CD.
