When i use the Dell monitor, it causes computer to crash

My problem is about my Dell S2440L monitor. It is causing the computer to crash after few hours of usage. I tried connecting the monitor to multiple desktops and laptops with different versions of Windows and Ubuntu. They all crashed so I searched for the latest drivers for each OS, but it consistently crashing. Are there any other solution aside from getting the latest drivers?

Hello Paul,

I haven't seen any situation similar to yours, but one thing I can assure you, it's a hardware problem. There might be instances wherein the OS requires more resources wherein your monitor can no longer process. In this case, I advise you to reach out to your supplier for proper troubleshooting. I believe you've done basic troubleshooting already and have gathered enough information.
