Failed to Update Ad-Aware Anti Virus
Hello Mark,
Firstly, check that your internet service is surely working?
The procedure to fix this problem is below here,
Go to the Ad-Aware > Navigate > Proxy Settings Menu > Enable Proxy > Enter URL or your Proxy Server > Save the Settings, then try the webupdate again.
If you still counters a same problem then, Turn off all the security Software's > Restart Ad-aware > Click webupdate < Configure Ad-aware network access.
Hopefully this will work and would not see this error message again.
Take Care
Regards.

Failed to Update Ad-Aware Anti Virus
Hello,
I had the same problem. I have Norton security. IÂ allow https://www.adaware.com/ to exit/come in with SSL in Norton.
Internet security/firewall/configure/advanced/general tools/in bloc access to SSL.
The updates don't go through www.lavasoft.com.
Does Norton allow you to use wildcards in the URLs you allow?
If so, please add lavasoft.com to the allowed connections list.
