I am new to Common Business Oriented Language (COBOL). I want to know which Compiler would be the best for COBOL, and from where can I download COBOL Compiler for Windows 7?

Where can I download the best COBOL Compiler for Windows 7?

According to me, you should GnuCOBOL, as most of the COBOL users use it. GnuCOBOL was formerly called OpenCOBOL. It is an open-source COBOL compiler. It translates COBOL programs to C programs. Then, the C programs can be compiled using GCC Compiler.

After that, you can download the package containing five files, and run the compiler on Windows 7.
