I'm trying to convert an audio file (windows media audio) to m4r file format so I can use it as a ringtone on my Iphone. I'm using Sony Soundforge 9 for the conversion but it says codec needed to play the file. Where do I download codec para sound forge 9 m4r?
Where can I Download codec para sound forge 9 m4r?
Hello,
I didn’t find any codecs for Sound Forge, but I can offer you other solution for playing audio files as your ringtone. You can do it with iTunes it’s free if audio file is from your own cd. Go to music folder and choose the audio file that you want. Right click on the file and select Get Info. Then from the Options, in start and sop time field select 20-30 seconds for the ringtone. Now click on the Ok button. Right click with the mouse to the audio file and select Create AAC version and rename that extension to M4R. Drag the new file to ringtones folder and sync.
