Where can I find best hdd repair software?

I am facing problem with my hard disk drive in my laptop. I want to break by hard disks partition and set up a new partition. I need the best HDD repair software to setup a partition.

Can you please tell me Where can I find best HDD repair software?

Where can I find best hdd repair software?

Hi,

There are three solutions:

1) You can use a windows bootable cd to delete and create a new partition.

2) You can use Ultimate Boot CD. It’s a freeware and easy to use. Insert CD and restart computer, then follow instruction.

3) The last solution but the best in my opinion:

Download TestDisk and install it.

– In Dos menu , run testdisk.exe

– On Windows, run TestDisk (eg testdisk-6.13/testdisk_win.exe) from an account in the Administrators group. Under Vista, use right click run as administrator to run TestDisk.

– To work on a disk image, use:

image.dd testdisk to analyze a raw image of a disk (raw image)

testdisk image.E01 to work with an Encase EWF image

testdisk 'image.E *' if the image is spitted into several files
