Where can I find free mini recovery software for Windows 8?

I installed the free version of MiniTool Power Data Recovery software to recover lost and deleted data on a Windows 8 OS.  The program crashes when launched.  I also installed it on a Windows XP 64 bit system and it works perfectly fine.  Where can I download free mini recovery software for Windows 8?

Where can I find free mini recovery software for Windows 8?

 

Hi,

I think the problem is the Bit type of the platform of the OS of the windows 8. I think windows 8 is using a 128 bit system, it is much higher than a 64 bit system. I recommend you to use this software it’s called “RECUVA” it is a free software, basically Recuva can restore the files by scanning the whole drive then just select the files you want to restore.
