Hi guys,

Where can I find smart GPRS setting for Samsung wave 2?

I got this Samsung wave 2 from a friend and was not familiar with bada operating system.

I need some assistance along the settings there are some set up to be configured in GPRS to received and send MMS.

Where can I find smart gprs setting for samsung wave 2?

Hi Danield

Some Service provider does not send the GPRS settings but you can fix this problem if you know the Access Point Name(APN) of your service provider. 

 

Just perform the following steps:

1. go to settings >> connectivity >> network >> connections.

2. Then Click on Create and new setting will be created, Edit it.

3. select set name and edit it, Give any name you want. Better is that give your service provider name.

4. Next Access Point Name(APN) edit it and Enter your service provider APN here.

5. Next Auth Type : Normal

6. Next Username  : It will be blank if you don't know any username of your service provider.

7. Next Password  : It will be blank if you don't know any password of your service provider.

8. Next Home URL : Type here www.google.co.in

9. Next Proxy Address : It will be blank if you don't know any proxy address of your service provider.

Then give it 0.0.0.0

10. Next Linger Time: 300sec.

11. Next Advance Settings: You need not to edit it.

12. Save it and Select it as a default setting.

Where can I find smart gprs setting for samsung wave 2?

Hi

You want a GPRS setting for your Samsung Wave 2.

There you can maintain your internet connection. You said you got one. Try that again if that works.

Otherwise contact your service provider for the settings because such settings vary from one provider to another.

They shall send you the settings that shall work.

Where can I find smart gprs setting for samsung wave 2?

To create GPRS Settings on Samsung Wave II.

tap settings.

tap connectivity.

tap network.

tap connections.

tap yes to accept confirmation.

 

To create new Connection, fill out the information.

set name.

access name.

user id.

password.

proxy address (IP).

tap advanced settings then tap set.

 

To check if it has been saved :

tap connections.

tap internet.

tap internet profiles and check whether the name you set is saved.
