Where can I get freeware webcam recording?

Hi, I tried but can't find the best webcam recording program that is free. Please help me with finding the program that I can record my webcam to a video file.

Where can I get freeware webcam recording?

 

Hi there,

 

One way to record a movie from your webcam is via Windows Movie Maker, if you are a Windows user. It came with your Windows and you can find it in your Start menu.

Open the program, click on "Capture from Video Device" and the wizard will lead you through the rest of the recording process. 

 

Another absolutely free webcam recording software is CamStudio. It's a bit simpler and easier to use than a Windows Movie Maker, so that may be the better choice for the beginners.
