Where can I get Smart card windows 7 driver download?

I have a Smart Card reader that worked perfectly fine on my Windows XP system.  I have now upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit.  When I insert a card, it gives an error of "drivers not installed properly".  Where can I get Smart Card Windows 7 driver download?

Where can I get Smart card windows 7 driver download?

Hi Harford,

The problem you are facing might be because you did not install the necessary drivers for your Smart Card reader in Windows 7. If your Smart Card reader came along with a Driver CD then please insert the CD in your CD Tray and install the Driver for the reader.

If you don't have the Driver CD, you can visit Google and type "<Your Smart Card's model> driver for Windows 7 64-bit". That is likely to help you.

Hi,

Basically what happen to your system or your pc when you upgrade it to windows 7 64bit, all of the saved driver to your past OS will be deleted. The first thing you need to do is to find the brand name and the model name of your smart card then download it to your trusted driver site. I recommend you to download it from here http://www.driverguide.com/
