Hello techyv experts!
I have a question. I bought a new computer and had it assembled in the store, the sales guy asked me if I want to include Windows 7 on the setup, then I said YES.
After fixing everything and got home, I noticed on the properties, in where you can see the computer's specs that the CD key for Win 7 is not there.
Why is that? Can anyone help me about this?
thanks!
Where can I find my Win 7 Product Key
Since you bought and got your computer assembled in the computer store, might as well go back there and ask them if you can have a copy of Windows 7’s product key.
I don’t see any reason why they won’t allow you to have a copy of your operating system’s serial combination.
And also, the product key for your Windows 7 can usually be found in the sticker that came with your computer. This is normally good for only one [1] workstation or computer and installing it on another machine requires another set of the product key.

you can't find the CD key on PC properties. it will given to you along with the CD and not to find it from your PC properties. This is for security purposes.
