Where is Dell XPS 630i BIOS update new?
You can download the file for BIOS update from Dell Official Website under Support > Product Support > Driver Details, and search for your device’s model.
The new Dell XPS 630i BIOS as updated last in 2011 has the following fixes and enhancements:
• Fixed: USB device still exist even when it is removed.
• Fixed: When ’Diskette Driver’ is off, cannot boot from USB floppy.
• It supports the new splash Dell logo.

Since you are also using a Dell computer like me, the best way to update everything on your machine is by visiting the support page of Dell’s website. To begin checking if your machine has an available update for the BIOS, go to Dell Support – Drivers & Downloads. Here, you need to enter your computer’s “Service Tag” code like for example without quotes, “HL4C71S”.
You can find this code on the side or bottom of your machine printed on a sticker. Enter the code under the “Enter a Service Tag” field then click “Submit”. When your computer or product is located, click it then on the next page, select “Drivers & downloads” on the left pane. On the right, select your correct operating system to display the correct downloads for your machine.
Now, just locate the download for the BIOS and download it. Once downloaded, just run it and follow the instructions to update your computer’s BIOS.
