I recently installed Windows 7 on my HP Envy DV6t 7200 with 3rd Gen Core i7 2.4 GHz. My laptop used to run on Xp and everything runs just fine. Upon upgrading to Windows 7, bluetooth does not work. It doesn't detect my bluetooth devices. Do I have to reinstall the driver and where can I get bluetooth for hp windows 7 downloads?

Where do I get Bluetooth for hp Windows 7 downloads?
Windows 7 will automatically detect and install the driver . What's up you are using it’s not matter. If it does not work you need to download and then install a Bluetooth driver from the HP website again. I hope this solve will be helpful for you. Thanks

Hi Jonathoon,
In response to your question, yes you have to reinstall the driver again. When upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7, almost all drivers of the laptop usually get installed with the new OS although this is not the case for the Bluetooth driver and sometimes the webcam driver. This raises the need to download the drivers.
Your laptop is one of the recent Hp models and therefore the Windows that it is usually installed with is the new windows 8. Therefore, I could not find drivers for Windows 7 of the specific laptop that you have.
However, you can still download the Bluetooth driver that is compatible with the windows 7 for any laptop. I did have a similar problem and downloaded “WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software” that is usually branded by the Broadcom Corporation and its working well for the duration I have used it. You can download it from this link: https://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/16339/ or https://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth
If the above URI’s do not work you can search for “WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software-Broadcom”.
I do hope that the software will configure well with your laptop.
