From where to download portable rs232 terminal emulator?

I am looking for portable rs232 terminal emulator. I have heard that it is fast and secure. Does it provide  full authentication ? I need your suggestion on it. I am searching it but can not find. May the pages about my exact  search was not indexed. Can anyone help me if you know a source?

Hello Marie,

I read about your worries about portable rs32 terminal emulator and I think can help you.

 

1. The Best way is to use Docklight (download it from here), this is paid software it`s costing 67$. Docklight is a test, analysis and simulation tool serial communication protocol (RS232 and others). You can monitor the connection between two devices and test the serial connection of a single device and have many key functions. 

2. You can use AlphaCom software (download it from here) but for this software you must pay 25$. AlphaCom supports Telnet /RS323/Modem connections with ANSI, Wyse60, SCO Console and VT 100 emulation. Includes dynamic front size, trace route,  ping, time client, host lookup, LPD remote printing, local pass-through printing and much more.

3. You can use Extron Electronics Data Viewer (download it from here), it`s Freeware. With the DataViewer Toolbar`s you can customize more than 18 shortcut keys. Shortcut keys are used to automate repetitive communications tasks.
