Where to get Prolific driver for palm treo Installer Driver

Dear Devinpaytonn,

All the drivers for Palm phones are included with Palm Desktop. They are not available as separate downloads.

So you need to download and install Palm Desktop. You can download it from here Palm Desktop 6.2.

It supports the following Palm Devices:

– Palm Centro; Treo 755p , 700p, 680, 65

– Palm TX, Z22; Tungsten E2

And can run on the following Operating Systems :

Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Note: In Windows 7 x64, USB HotSync is not supported. So you will need to synchronize through a Bluetooth wireless connection.

If after installation Windows asks you to locate the driver for your device, Then you will have to locate the driver manually.

1. First, Restart your PC after installation of Palm Desktop.

2. Try to sync your device with HotSync Manager (Comes with Palm Desktop).

3. If Windows opened New Hardware Wizard, Click on "Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location".

4. Find

• VisorUsb.inf OR
• PalmUSB.sys

In one of these locations:

• C:Program FilespalmOneDrivers OR
• C:Program FilesPalmDrivers OR
• C:Program FilesHandspringDrivers OR
• C:Windowsinf

5. Click next to finish the wizard.

6. If you still can't Hotsync with your device then navigate to the above paths and right click on the file and choose Install.
