I would like to know if apps consume a lot of battery power when it is used in laptops. Does the type of application being used affect the battery-life of the laptop? If it does, could you explain how this process of excessive battery consumption affects the power level of the laptop?

I have an answer to your question.

Mostly using modems consume a lot of battery power when it is used in laptops. Online browsing on web browsers consume excessive battery powers of the laptop. To work on the internet through modems or other DSL servers as shown in the image, battery of a laptop can be used for less time than in other case.
