I think you should start watching Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. I am currently using it and it is the best Antivirus software till date but you should also know that you will not find any software all perfect. Avira is not at all recommended as it turns the PC slower and also affects the system file. Hope this helped you.

You should try some of the Antivirus softwares and see which one goes perfect for you.Kaspersky,Bitdefender,McAfee they are all good on different levels. Also I should suggest you to do some research on the net and look into forums and reviews and make your decision.You can use a trial version of these websites and see their performance. I use Bitdefender Antivirus Pro 2011 and it is good for me.Select the Antivirus that is good for you.

Bitdefender is good but I won't suggest you McAfee for some reasons. McAfee is good if your PC is already virus free and then its defensive system is good. But if your system is already infected with malware then McAfee could be of little use.

Panda use much of PC's memory usage resulting in slowing down the PC. Viper is new in the Antivirus scenario. It doesn't have any high profile but they have good feedbacks. I haven't tried it yet. I have used McAfee, Kaspersky, Norton, Eset, Bitdefender, Avira, AVG, Panda till date and among these Kaspersky is the best according to my knowledge.
