Hi,

Which connector on my computer system allows me to get a high-definition signal from my computer to my high definition television? I have a bunch of downloaded movies stored in my computer and I want to watch it on my big screen TV. I have a DELL xps desktop computer, here's the back of my computer:

George,

I have noted the ports available for HD ( High Definition ) on your PC. the two parallel ports are DVI ( Digital Video Interface ) ports and the smaller ports are HDMI.

Here is your revised picture:

Since you are using Dell desktop with discrete graphic card (not integrated one), you must connect your HDMI output (marked with red) with your High-definition TV through HDMI cable. Good thing is that HDMI technology serves not only for transfer of video signal, but also for transfer of audio signal.
