While Downloading Windows Version 1709 Gives 0xc190010a Error

When the user tries to update to 1709 from the store, blue-screening and reverting then an error occurs named as 0xc190010a error. The error message shows “FEATURES UPDATE TO WINDOWS 10, VERSION 1709 – Error 0xc190010a.”

The solution to fix the error code is to type the following in the Windows Start Search box and hit Enter

%systemroot%\Logs\CBS > Rename CBS.Log to something else.

If the system does not allow to rename the file then type services in Windows Start Search box > Click Services > Scroll down to find the Windows Modules Installer service and double-click on it > set its startup type to Manual > Reboot the system.

Go to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS > Rename CBS.Log > Restart the system > then go back into the Service App and set Windows Modules Installer service back to Automatic Startup.

The user can also uninstall the Third-party antivirus and check for the error is resolved or not.
