Hi guys,

While editing a photo with Adobe Photoshop I received a message. It is indicating about the invalid JPEG marker.

What is it?

If you have any idea for the issue please help me.

Could not complete your request because an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found.

While editing a photo with Adobe Photoshop I received a message

 

Hi,

 

You got the error message because of two possible reasons: first, the file was saved with an extension that is incorrect and does not match its format, example you saved a file as PNG but the extension states that it is JPG; second, the file contains layers however was saved as jpeg.

 

To solve the problem, simply rename the file by altering the extension or save again the file using the correct format/extension. Finally, close the file and reopen it to test if problem is fixed.
