Hello Rodney,
Â
Many people say that problems like this usually occur when you bought a pre-owned item. Actually, this issue is most common on MacBook in which you forgot to manually check your disk.
Â
To effectively eradicate this issue, you need to have your Mac OSÂ XÂ Install disc because it is an essential tool for checking disk problem. You must first INSERT the CD and RESTART PC while you HOLD C.
Â
> On the INSTALLER menu, select DISK UTILITY.
> Tabs were shown and select FIRST AID then select the OS volume you are using.
> You may now select REPAIR and it will automatically repair your disk.
Â
Another way to solve this issue is to run your PC in SAFE MODE. In safe mode, during boot, it automatically check your disk and repair problems. In other MacBook, it is stated as Safe Boot.
Â
If this process doesn’t work, it is time for you to re-install OS for it will automatically remove all the problems on your operating system.
Â
Â
Good Luck!
Â
