After updating my computer last night whenever I try sign on to Skype I am getting this error message.
Now I can't use Skype, and I badly needed it I am afraid to do something that I am not sure of. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but I am still getting the same error message whenever I try to sign in.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Why am I getting this error with Skype?
To fix this error, open Internet Explorer and "tool-delete browsing history". Exit Skype and re-launch it. It works with mine.
If you just empty the browsing history of Internet Explorer it may help, even you are using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
I'll guarantee you that this will work, I have encountered this problem before and I solved it with this method.
Follow these steps:
Open Internet Explorer, Go to Safety / Delete browsing history – Select Cookies and Cache.
Go to tools / Internet options, click advanced tab and click restore advanced settings.
After these steps, Skype home works now.

Hi,
I can help you fix the issue on your computer. I suggest you to follow these steps:
>>If you have any other browser such as the Firefox or Google chrome, make any of them your default browser. You can do this by selecting the settings of that browser.
>>Once you have done that, try using your Skype and check if it is working fine.
>>If it is working fine, the issue is with the Internet Explorer. You may want to update the Internet Explorer to the latest version.
>>If changing the browser does not help you, you’ll need to reset the internet settings on your computer. To reset, type “inetcpl.cpl” in the Run window (Windows key + R key)
This should fix the issue on your computer.
