I installed the free version of Alcohol120 to back up my system files and settings as an image file. When I launched the program, it gave an error of "Alcohol 120 could not save to an image file". Can someone give light on this? I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. Thanks.
Why am I having an image error in Alcohol120?
Hi Veronica,Â
The free version is a trial version of Alcohol 120. Most probably you have used your 15 day trial period and now the software has stopped working. After 15 days of trial period it will not work any more. Â You can either purchase the software or you can continue using other free software.

Why am I having an image error in Alcohol120?

Hi there Veronica C Dwight
I read your question and I can give you a proper resound why this happens. There can be two reasons
1st Trial Version – Trial version allows you to use Alcohol 120 for only 15 days of time but according to your error this reason cannot be appropriate because if 15 days has been passed it will show a message which says to register
2nd Converting System Files into Image – When some important files are converting and if it is in use the software does not have a proper permission for converting it. I think some system files are cannot be converted since those are in use but you can give a try by opening the Alcohol 120 as administrator
Best of luck

Thank You..!!
