Why Are The Outlook Rules Client Only For My Computer?

I am not able to run all the rules on Outlook. It is saying that Outlook rules are client-only. I want to make them server based. How can I change the Outlook rules client only to server based as well?

Why Are The Outlook Rules Client Only For My Computer?

There are some rules on the Microsoft Outlook server that will always be client only. Some of them are listed below.

• Print
• Move to folder
• Reply
• Flag message
• Play
• Run a command
• Display notification

The point is, when the folder that is accessed exists only on your PC, they become client only. Some rules like printing a document must always be client only. But some rules should not.
