Why can’t I use a QR code?

I have a 2 year old Samsung phone and I see people using QR readers all the time. Problem is, I try to use them and never have any luck. Does anyone have a recommended app I can use, or is it just that my phone is old and I will have to wait until I upgrade? Thanks.

Why can’t I use a QR code?

Actually, the ability to read QR codes depends on the features of your phone and of course you need to have installed and activated a special QR code app into your Samsung phone, in order to read a QR code. Typically, a smartphone or tablet available with a camera would support you there, without any issue.
