Why can’t my window 8 keep backup files?

Why is my Window 8 not keeping it backups? I schedule a regular Window backup why always runs at the stipulated time but whenever I check for the backup files, there is none in the backup folder. What causes this behavior? How can this problem be fixed? If I backup to an external device, will the problem also occur?

Hello, Taylor!

  Sometimes the solution can be very simple. You can try going to File / History, then go to Advanced tab and then Options. Make sure you set to: Keep saved versions to one month instead of the default Forever. After all, with the next latest updates from Microsoft, it Will be resolved by itself.
