Why core 4 player for 5250 (nokia) is creating a problem?

Hi. I purchased nokia mobile 5250 and installed different applications. But core 4 player for 5250 is not working properly as it supports format MPEG, AVI, MP4 etc. When I play mkv file, core player does not respond and the screen is black. I tried to download core player from different sites but same result. Please tell me what is the problem? Any fault in mobile?

Sometimes file formats which are supported to the applications but sometimes there is resolution problem. The mobile you are using may support the files format but due to the mobile screen resolution it is unsupported. Another issue may be due to the Player which you are using. The Nokia 5230 has Symbian Operating System Series 60 Release 5 (s60v5 phone) installed and Core Players are not totally compatible with this release of OS.
Core Players are only supported by s60v3 (release 3).
 
So at this point, I suggest you to try another application in your handset, such as ucplayer or divix player.
