Why do i cannot log in to my yahoo messenger

My Yahoo Messenger was working correctly until last night. I have been receiving error messages since last night. It says that i have keyed in wrong user ID or wrong password.

I have tried with some other computers, and I can log-in there. At the same time I can sign-in to my Yahoo mail from the same computer.

Go to Start–Control Panel– Add/remove Programs. Click on Messenger and click remove. This should reinstate the older version. If not, Reboot and download it. Yahoo 8.1. 9 messenger is in Beta (testing) form and not working well. Stick to 8.1 until they work out the bugs. People using 8.1 trying to do messaging with 9 or reverse, are having compatibility problems.

 

Go to Start–My Pc C drive–open program files–then Yahoo file–open messenger file and click UNWISE the remove messenger 9. It can't be removed using Control Panel. If you upgraded the Flash player, then that could be the problem.

 

Flash player 10 does have conflicts, and 9's latest update 9.0.124.0 can have conflicts with Yahoo and is causing some Yahoo services not load. Use the link below for a download of Flash player #9.0.115.0. It should work as it's older than the last update. You have to remove the present Flash player (add/remove programs in control panel). Reboot then download the older version.
