Why do i need VLC Media Player pci device?

I keep getting this message that I need VLC media player PCI device, to watch some online shows, or anything online, does anyone know why do I get this message?

• You might have VLC media player installed in your system and might not configured properly.
• One way to solve this problem is to uninstall the VLC media player. That should solve the issue.
