Why Does My Power Supply Keep Going Out?

I built my system last summer with what I thought was a strong power supply. I ended up needing to replace it with in a couple months. Now once again my system has died and I think it is the power supply. How can I keep from this going down every few months?

Why Does My Power Supply Keep Going Out?

When you computer keeps going off, it might not be necessarily a problem with your power supply, a faulty processor also can cause your computer to goes off. This usually happens when the processor overheats. Considering you built the system by yourself, you should place a fan close to the processor in order to cool it.
