Hello!
I am trying to open someone else's Outlook 2003/2007/2010 mailbox, but I keep getting an error message:
"Cannot open the Mailbox for this user because the user does not have a server mailbox"
even if the owner has given me the required permissions to open it.
What can I do?
Why I can’t open the mailbox from Outlook
hello Mike welcome to techyv.com
Are using a different computer to access someone’s account in Microsoft Outlook? If yes definitely you can’t access it, If you want to open his or her account it Microsoft Outlook you need to use his or her computer where he or she setup his email address in Microsoft out look. And if your using the computer where the MS outlook has been setup and the problem is still occur. Well Then probably your computer has reformat or you have re installed your Microsoft Office before? If yes then you should register your email accounts again in Outlook and setup a server for your emails.
And if non of this statements can correct to your problem then you probably accessing someone account without any permission
to the owner because the login name that you've been using is not registered in the server mailbox.
