Why I get blue screen when I try to use Skype application?

I have a problem with my laptop when I start using the Skype application. I am getting the blue screen of death or BSOD and when I turn it off and on again, it would go back to the home screen but when I try to open Skype again, the same blue screen will appear. My laptop is HP Compaq 511. What can cause these issues and how do I resolve it? Please somebody help.

Why I get blue screen when I try to use Skype application?

HP Compaq 511 is having RAM capacity only up to 4 GB. Blue screen is due to the memory dump error. If the RAM usage Peak shoots above the memory capacity, then system will suddenly goes to blue screen and memory dumb process will initiate. After that either system will restart or you want to restart the system manually. This may be due to the reason that, you are using the recent version of the software.
