SSL is considered more reliable and secure protocol but I am facing some problem by using it. Whenever I try to open web site, internet explorer ssl certificate message is displayed. I am worried how to deal with it. Some suggestion please.
Why Internet explorer ssl is creating issue while opening web site?
Hello
You forgot to mention exact error message but I will show you how to disable this warning. Internet explorer use SSL protocol so there is no need to worry. To disable warning follow there instructions:
go to Tools->Internet options->Security
click on Security tab
select internet icon at top of tab
click on Custom Level button
in Miscellaneous part set Display mixed content option to Enable
Now you won't see that warning again. Regards.

Hi Sofia Cate,
Â
Check if automatic update option is active on your OS so the latest update of the drive will be performed automatically, otherwise do it manually.
The next step you shall do is to check the settings for SSL.
In case you are using Firefox as web browser go to Options – Advanced Panel – EncryptionÂ
Under this tab, you should have 3.0 for SSL and 1.0 for TLS marked.
Apply and Close.
Â
After this try to open a secure web page.
Â
If it is still not working, then you have to check the settings of the proxy.
Still considering that you are using Firefox browser, go to Options – Advanced Panel – SettingsÂ
Find out if you have your proxy configured as Manual. If this is the case, be sure that the protocols point to the proxy server address.
Otherwise, no actions are needed, and you may proceed with window closure.
Â
Try to browse to a secure web page, and see how it goes, you shouldn't face any issue.
Â
In case you are still facing problems, then check firewall rules configuration, maybe something is blocking the page.
