Hello, I have a dell laptop computer with Windows Vista 32 bit. I was using it without any problem when all of a sudden my wireless card disabled itself yesterday. I tried right clicking-> enable, Fn-F2, but nothing seems to work.
Why is my Dell wireless card not working?
First check if the wired connection works fine. It can be some other issue with your system and nothing to do with wireless.
Try and remove Dell WLAN utility in startup as Vista doesn't need it.
Does your device manager detect the Media? If No,then all you will need is the driver to Microsoft ISATAP controller so that your device manager detects the media.
Hope this helps.

Hi Roda
First, make sure the wireless card switch is on, then to enable the wireless card, you will right click on the Network Adaptor Icon on your system tray.
You can also access the wireless card adaptor from the Network Icon on the Desktop, right click and go to Properties.
Click on Network and Sharing Center, then go to Manage Network Connections. Here you will find all your Network Adaptors. Right Click on the Wireless Adaptor and select Enable.
I hope this helps.
