I have a iPad Mini which is not recognizing my Apple ID and password. Every time it is asking me to sign into Face Time which I never use at all. I have repeatedly set my Apple ID and password correctly but it is not recognizing it at all. I am not able to use my device at all. I request someone to guide me in this issue. Why is my iPad Mini not recognizing my Apple ID and password?
This issue normally happens after an update on your device or if you tried restoring it. It can also be caused by a failed download but is only not visible on your screen. There are also times it is caused by your account settings, either in iMessage/FaceTime or iCloud or maybe in the App Store.
Try first restarting your iPad mini. If it doesn’t work, try resetting your device but without erasing the data. To do this, go to Settings, General, Reset, and then select Reset Settings. If this didn’t work, open the App Store then check your Purchased Apps history. Go to the purchased apps section then verify that there is no failed download or anything.
After that, on your device, go to Settings, iTunes & App Store, and then try logging out of your account. Once logged out, sign in back. In case you can no longer sign in back to your account, that means there’s a problem with either your Apple ID or password. Go to your computer then try a password reset.
Next, go back to your iPad mini then sign in using the reset password.
