I have a netis router in my home to use Wi-Fi but it shows a very weak internet connection. So, I went to my ISP to fix the problem and it works properly at the office of my ISP but it doesn’t get connected at my home when I try to connect. Why is this problem occurring?

Solution 1:

Try to run an anti-virus and check your PC whether it is affected.

Solution 2:

Go to ‘Start’-> Device manager-> confirm that you have installed all the device driver software for PC. If anything is not there or outdated, try to download and install or update the software.

Solution 3:

Keep windows up to date.

Solution 4:

Check all the installed programs. Check for AMD quick stream program. If it is there uninstall the program, restart the computer. Problem will solve.

Solution 5:

Step 1: Turn off the router, modem and PC. Then turn on the modem and wait to stabilize the light. After that, turn on the router and then PC.

Step 8: Then download and run ‘Xirrus WiFI Insspector, click the network link on the upper left and paste a screen shot of that screen here. Note that this application requires NET Framework to run. If you get an error about a missing function, download and install NET Framework.

Solution 6:

Do speed test to test the internet speed, if you are getting speed then problem will be with your computer.

Solution 7:

Try to reset the router by pressing the ‘Default’ button for 8-10 seconds, when the router is powered ON. Then the router will reboot and all configurations will go back to the factory default.

Solution 8:

Step 1: Open the browser->type the IP address of the router (192.168.1.1).

Step 2: Go to ‘System Tools’->’Factory Defaults’->click on ‘Restore’. If you are getting a ‘Netis Page’ on the screen then, Click on ‘Advanced’->’System Tools’->’Factory Defaults’->click on ‘Restore’.
