Why my Samsung Galaxy S4 powers on itself?
Hi Don, there are so many reasons why smartphones automatically powers by itself. Not only are these encountered with Samsung devices, it is often the problems with other brands of smartphones in the market today. Some of the factors are firmware updates which are needed by some of the applications in your device and also by the software of your phone itself. Another is the high frequency of your processor, Samsung S4 has a 1.6 GHz. Frequency and this high frequency allocated causes the random activation of the phone. There is also the ROM [Read Only Memory] interface issues wherein the pre-installed operating system of the phone cause the automatic restart of the phone. To correct the high frequency usage of the processor, simply lower it down to say, minimum of 350 MHz and maximum of 600 MHz. You can configure this by going to the CPU Tuner of the phone. To remedy the auto updates or syncing just go to Settings, then scroll to Accounts & Sync and deactivate this. Then to correct the ROM interface issues, once more go to Settings, then to Developer Option and turn on the USB Debugging Mode.Â
