Why my Smasug Galaxy Neo have network detection problem?

Hey guys,

I want to know why my smartphone which is new one has network detection problem. I can seee this problem the day I bought it and when contacted the contacted for service they say upgrading to Android 4.2 may help but it did not. My phone is Samsung Galaxy Neo and it won't detect any SIM networks.

Hello Terrance, upgrading the software simply isn’t a one way ticket to a complete solution. Try first to check if the phone can detect another SIM card. Another thing is try to get another working SIM and put it in your phone to check if that can be detected. If that fails, now is the time to go to the settings of the phone itself. From your home screen, go to settings, then proceed to Wireless & Networks, then go to mobile networks then choose network mode, and choose either WCDMA or GSM. Then clear the cache of the phone, since this causes some issues on the phone since its original release.
