Why Outlook calendar synchronization does not works?

Hey guys,

I want to know what is the problem with my Outlook calendar and why it is not working when I try to synchronize it, Yes it fails to synchronize outlook calendar. Though I tried many times but unable to address the problem. So please tell me what could be the possible reason to this problem and how to get over it.

Why Outlook calendar synchronization does not works?

Hello Neal,

I am assuming you are having a problem with syncing your Outlook calendar with that of the Google. On 01 August 2014, Google discontinued its Outlook calendar sync utility. So the syncing of both these calendars has now become a complicated process. Experts are now suggesting to choose one among the two.

The solution to this problem is Import/export calendar from Outlook application to Google calendar.

In Outlook this can be done under File Menu, in Google Calendar this can be done under the gear icon.

Second Solution is to use apps such as Calendarsync  which can automate the syncing of both the calendars.
