Why recent items not launching?

Why is it that the same image file opens when double-clicked directly, but not when launched from the “Recent Items” list or via the Windows Live Photo Gallery Jump List and displays a code0× error code, instead?

Why recent items not launching?

Hello Valerie,

The error code0x you receive in your case indicates that  the file does not exist in the indicated path. You must have moved the image file after opening it once in the "Windows Live Photo Gallery". Hence the address in the Photo Gallery and in the Recent items is invalid now. What you can do is to delete the image in the Recent items and open the image again. Now, check in Recent items, it should open your image when you click. Do the same with the Photo Gallery. cheers.
