Thumbs.db is a file that is automatically generated cache of thumbnail and it is preferred to completely delete it as it is safe to keep away by deleting immediately.
The thumbnails are the tiny version of images in which they are displayed in some folder views and it cannot be seen in windows explorer as it will be in form of hiding in folder.
It is normally an hidden file and drag it to visible state by changing the view settings from the folder options by clicking on radio button show hidden files and folders.
It is not easy to delete all the files present in the system and for now the only way is to delete them but next there is an option to stop creating thumbs.db files by checking Do not cache thumbnails.
Thank You.
Thank you so much to the expert for the solution. I had been driven mad by deleting all those thumbs files and they keep coming back! I didn’t know there was an option to prevent it from creating thumbs. Thank you so much, a very useful tip you have providedÂ

Dear,
This is a database file. It is created for any folders that contain picture files or media files in thumbnail mode. This file saves information about the thumbnails. This file will not create any problems, so you do not need to worry about it. If you want to remove this file, click on "view" and remove the tick from thumbnail option. Now, you are free from this file. Thanks.
