Why was windows vista discontinued and comparison

At its release I was really fond of windows vista. Shortly after I switched to windows 7 because support was cancelled rapidly for vista. Can anyone tell me what caused the downfall of windows vista? In my opinion the operating system was a good one and it was very user-friendly.

Why was windows vista discontinued and comparison

Windows Vista is a one of the stylish OS from Microsoft.But Microsoft had ended the support of windows vista because it has some problems.For vista you have to invest more.it also has some issue with driver compatibility.It has also some support problem because only a few manufacturers give support for windows vista. It's also annoying UAC (User Account Control). It is not compatible with all devices and programs. Therefore Microsoft had end the support of Windows vista.
