I came to know that there is a lot of introspection going around with Samsung apps after consecutive quarterly profit drops. I think since there several good Android instant messaging apps available, Samsung should focus more on phone models and software choices. Will ChatOn instant messaging app of Samsung vanish from the users?

Will ChatOn instant messaging app of Samsung vanish from the users?

As per sources, Samsung announced 2 days ago that I will discontinue

it's app  from 1 February 2015 allover the world except the US.

It will then shut down in the US at an unconfirmed date soon after,

with the delay due to "existing contractual obligations with US

mobile carriers."

Samsung also said that it's decision was made because

it need to concentrate more on it's core services.
