The Flame virus was detected by Kaspersky Labs because of an ITU request.
Kaspersky says that Flame is 20 times bigger than Stuxnet (a virus that sabotaged a Nuclear plant in Iran on 2010)
And it has already infected some middle east countries.
Will this virus be contained in the middle east and not spread to other regions?Â

Experts said that Flame virus was likely the most complex and sophisticated ever discovered. No one yet knows how large it is because much of the virus has yet to be found and gauged.
But it’s been reported widespread in the Mideast, primarily Iran, Lebanon, Palestinian areas and Saudi Arabia.

Now, is it contained and stops from spreading?
A senior officials of Iran claim that they had defeated a powerful computer virus that had boasted unprecedented data-snatching capabilities and could even eavesdrop on computer users.
To keep it from spreading, Iran was forced to cut Internet links to the systems in question in order to contain the virus. Their experts too have already produced an antivirus capable of identifying and removing "Flame" from computers.
The anti-virus program had identified and removed the malicious software. However, it remains to be seen just how effective it will be, or how much damage Flame can do to their systems in the interim.
So, we have nothing to worry, our experts were in the process or even invented already a tool to combat the most complex cyber attack in case it will hit our own computer system.
