Win 8 Tiles and apps doesn’t work

I recently installed Win 8 in my computer and for some reason some tiles and apps do not launch or just won't work at all. Is there any incompatibility issues with a 64 bit system?

Win 8 Tiles and apps doesn’t work

Hi Kadi,

many have complained about this problem and this usually occurs when you install another web browser like Mozilla and any other browsers in Windows 8 and if you set the new browser as your default browser it will automatically hides Internet Explorer tile from the Start Screen. The solution to this problem is to just simply set your IE as your default web browser.

      Yes there is! Some program might have some compatible issue whether they are compatible to install in 32 bit or 64 bit. Some programs in 32 bit can run on 64 bit but some are not. It depends on the software, so you need to look for compatibility issue regarding software installation. There is also a Windows 8 that is for 64 bit and 32 bit so also check for that. You application doesn’t run because of that issue, but I think if you install software and not compatible, the installer will say that installation is not successful, maybe there are some other problem why won't work. You must check the specs needed for the software.
