Winamp exe Application Error Occurred

Hi,

I just got this application error message which shows the memory issue. I visited the Microsoft update website and tried to fix it but the following error displayed. I have got many different posts related to this error from forums but could not get any proper resolution. How can I fix this error message? Thanks for any assistance.

The instruction at “0x77fcae26” referenced memory at “0x042444f4”. The memory could not be “written”.

Click on OK to terminate the program

Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Winamp exe Application Error Occurred

Hi.

To resolve this problem go to C:\Program filesWinampPlugins and search for file named pmp_p4s.dll, delete it and restart Winamp.

Now it should be working. pmp_p4s.dll is an temporary file and when not

removed automatically it causes with that error. Also since 20.12.2013 winamp will not be any more supported so you would like to consider a new music player. Good music players are Clementine and foobar2000.
