Hi,

I am using Windows Vista.

Whenever I try to install Acrobat 8 to my system it gives me an error. Although during the installation error I even took some time to move further so that the error may not occur, but nothing helped.

Is there any solution for the mentioned problem?

Hello Halin,

I have a solution for you. You have to go to the page in the following url. or link. here you will see how to restart windows installer which is stopped in time of installing acrobet reader or any other software. Here you will see windows installer stopped working while installing office. But do same for Adobe Acrobet 8.

Hello Halin Dan,

This seems to be a problem with your default windows installer software and registry files. Use your Windows Vista DVD and try refreshing your windows installer in the control panel under programs tab.

You can also try this to resolve the issue,

Click on START > RUN and type: net start MSIServer

Press Enter and try again.
