Window showing error invalid boot ini file booting from c windows

When the window starts it displays the message “Invalid BOOT.INI file Boot C:windows” and also BOOT.INI this does not allow the  Windows to run. I do not have Windows Cd to repair it so is there any other procedure to do it. Window showing error invalid boot ini file booting from c windows

• It is advisable to buy or borrow a CD if possible & run these commands by pressing Enter after each,

C:Windows>cd system32

C:Windowssystem32>del ntoskrnl.exe

C:Windowssystem32>copy d:i386ntoskrnl.ex_        »»»(d or the CD-Rom drive's letter)

C:Windowssystem32>rename ntoskrnl.ex_ ntoskrnl.exe"

C:Windowssystem32>exit

• Restart.
• Then, these instructions would pop up:

"Add installation to the list of boot options?" >> Type Y

"Enter Boot Identifier:" >> Type the OS name

"Enter the options for loading the operating system:" >> no need to respond this 

• Now press the Enter key
• At the end, restart.

You have to create the c:boot.ini txt document.
It is an simple text file so you can use any application to create the file.
The example of a simple text file is c:boot.ini file copy/paste the text to type a new file
"[Boot loader]break=5defaultng=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partiion(1)WINDOWS Operating structures]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional"
/noexecute=optin /fastdetect"

When you get that text entered into your text editor, do a Save As… And but the file as:c:boot.iniAnswer in the confirmatory if asked to overwrite or replace the current file.Then reboot your method.If the file comes up omitted again, will find the error and fix this one.This Window-related knowledge-base article smears to the following OS : Openings XP (all editions) Windows Attendant 2003 (all editions).
